With the objective to present the Life Science Initiative in Mexico to CEOs, politicians, government official leaders and opinion leaders, we participated in the last AMCHAM Convention that took place in Camino Real Hotel in Mexico City last February 26 and 27.

Our presence in the stands area of along with other companies of international level and the active participation in the conferences, where even Felipe Calderón Hinojosa President of the Mexican United States was present, gave us the opportunity to have an approach to all type of important guests like Lic. Antonio Or. Heron, Jr. Ambassador of the United States of North America in Mexico, Santiago Creel Senator of the National Action Party (PAN), Carlos Navarrete Senator of the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD), Manlio Fabio Beltrones Senator of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), Eduardo Bours Governor of Sonora, Amalia Garcia Governor of Zacatecas, Jose Natividad González Parás, Governor of Nuevo Leon, Dra. Denise Dresser, Professor of Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), among others.

The Life Science Initiative is unique in its type and allows MSD to mark a difference between other companies in front of and acquires an ample paper of leadership like promoter of the technological innovation in Mexico.

MSD is proud for developing this initiative, that looks for to influence in positive way the private, public and governmental sectors, as well as to the Mexican society in important subjects as the state of right, the respect to the Industrial property and the free commerce, all of them necessary for the innovation development.

The main strategy on which the Life Science Initiative is based looks for to integrate the academic, public and private sectors, and this way to favor the conformation Poles of Innovation.
